Accommodation for men experiencing homelessness or housing crisis in the Inner Melbourne region.
Since 1953, Ozanam House in North Melbourne has provided supported accommodation to single men over the age of 18.
Ozanam House provides comprehensive and tailored assistance to clients with multiple complex needs, offering the following services and programs:
- Accommodation services;
- Catering services;
- Volunteer program; and
- Community development program.
Ozanam House is staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
- Homeless Persons Program (HPP) through the Royal District Nursing Service
- St Vincent's Hospital Divisionary Program
- Inner West Mental Health Service
To be eligible for crisis accommodation at Ozanam House, you must be a male aged 18 years or over and currently experiencing homelessness.
VincentCare's Initial Assessment and Planning team, located at the Northern Community Hub in Glenroy, processes all applications and assessments for people wanting to enter Ozanam House.

Ozanam House Redevelopment
Opening in March 2019, the new Ozanam House will be a world-class, modern and safe location where people experiencing homelessness are given every opportunity to access housing, health and social support services relevant to their individual needs.
