Rod McDonald Bachelor of Commerce Melbourne University, CPA, Churchill Fellow
Rod has held a range of senior positions with Australia Post including State General Manager for Victoria/Tasmania and National Group Manager Human Resources.
Prior to this Rod worked in a number of senior positions with the Victorian Government including General Manager, Workforce Management, Deputy Director General Local Government, Housing and Transport. These roles have included a focus on finance, strategy, industrial relations and human resource management.
Rod was a member of the Business Council of Australia Committee on Education and Innovation and also Chairman of Mount Lilydale College for 6 years.
Rod is Chair of the VincentCare Board.
Adriana Zuccala Bachelor of Laws (Hons), Bachelor of Arts, Master of Laws (Commercial Law), Diploma of Financial Services (Financial Markets), GAICD, FINSIA (Senior Associate), LIV
Adriana joined the Board in October 2010.
She is a lawyer who has had extensive experience in property and property development projects and property funds management.
Adriana is the Deputy Chair of the VincentCare Board and also Chairs the Social Policy and Research Committee.
Haydn Harrison FCPA, FFINSIA, MBA, Bachelor of Business (Accounting)
Haydn was employed by the Commonwealth Banking Corporation in many executive roles including, corporate banking, business banking, retail banking and asset management. He has had exposure to most industries with some specialisation in respect to seniors living and aged care. Haydn is currently a senior manager with Jirsh Sutherland a firm that provides business advisory and consulting services.
Haydn is a member of the Policy & Advisory Group, National Seniors Association in Victoria. He joined the Board on 25 August 2009.
Haydn is VincentCare's Treasurer.
Catherine Collins Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Education, Dip. Teaching
Catherine joined the VincentCare Board in April 2007 following her retirement as Principal of Siena College, Camberwell, a position she held for 12 years.
Catherine chairs the Governance Committee and is a member of the Property & Infrastructure Committee. She is also a member of the St Frances Conference of the Society.
Nancy Huang M.B.B.S. (Honours), Master of Public Health, Registered in General Practice, Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology
Nancy is currently Clinical Director of Remedy Healthcare, a wholly owned subsidiary of Australian Unity where she is responsible for the clinical governance, safety and quality, and the overall design and implementation of community and home based health management programs for people with chronic disease.
Nancy also holds appointments as Adjunct Professor for the Faculty of Health, Deakin University and Chief Investigator for NHMRC funded Medicine and Device Surveillance Centre of Research Excellence at University of South Australia.
Maurice Joyce BEc (Hons); MEc
Maurice has a background in economics and finance in the manufacturing and mining industries.
He worked at the World Bank in Washington DC and held management positions with Rio Tinto in Australia and internationally. He was also a Commissioner at the Commonwealth Government's Productivity Commission.
David McFadyen Assoc. Dip. Vals, AAPI, MAICD, CFM
David joined ISPT in November 2004 to establish and manage ISPT No 3, an opportunities and development fund. David has in excess of 30 years experience encompassing the areas of valuations, property management, property development, and property funds management gained with financial institutions such as AXA and Deutsche Bank in Australia and the UK. At AXA David was responsible for the Statutory Fund property portfolios which comprised large portfolios of commercial office buildings, regional retail shopping centres and industrial business parks throughout Australia. At Deutsche Bank David was the General Manager of the Deutsche Diversified Fund, an ASX listed property trust.
David’s current responsibility is for the overall performance of the series of ISPT Development Funds including identification of potential projects, the procurement of capital for development and oversight of the development process. David also sits on the senior executive committee of ISPT.
Linda Peterson M. Comm. Law, Dip. Bus. Mgt, B.Sc., GAICD
Linda joined the VincentCare Board in May 2016 where she is a member of the Governance Committee.
She has an extensive background in contract management working in complex legislative, regulatory and high risk environments covering both the corporate and government sectors. Her roles have included Relationship Manager Vic/Tas with the National Broadband Network Co. and Contract Manager roles with Corrections Victoria (Dept. of Justice) and Optus Business.
Linda has been a Board member of Disability Enterprise, Araluen for over five years and is Deputy Chair as well as a member of its Development Advisory Committee.
Linden Smibert Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery, Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors
Dr Smibert currently works as a Medical Coordinator and Practitioner at the Glenferrie Hill Medical Centre.
Dr Smibert is also a Director and Chair of the Melbourne East General Practice Network, a Director and Chair General Practice Victoria; and was a member of the Finance Committee, St Vincent de Paul Society Victoria.
Brian Tooth Bachelor of Commerce, ACA, AGIA
Brian has been a member of VincentCare’s Risk Audit and Finance Committee for the past 18 months where he has demonstrated strong analytical capacity and financial acumen. Brian retired from full-time work in 2014 and his most recent role was as Assistant Director, Finance, Finance and Technology Services, Department of Treasury and Finance.
He has also previously served as Executive Director – Group Accounting Australian Hospital Care Limited (AHCL) and worked for a number of years as Finance Director with Foster’s Brewing. Brian also currently serves as a Board Member and Chairman of Finance Committee of the John Pierce Centre (Catholic deaf community) and a Board Member of Doncare Community Services.
