Major activity is well underway with the continued site preparations, super structure commencement and the ground floor as part of the Ozanam House Redevelopment in North Melbourne. Work is on track in accordance with the development timeline, and VincentCare is expecting to be housing clients in our new accommodation by this time next year.
Our new Homeless Resource Centre will provide drop-in and wrap-around services for up to 250 people each day. The Homeless Resource Centre will deliver a high level of amenity, security, privacy, and client engagement and needs to be equipped to deliver:
- Medical care (GP and nursing care for primary health)
- Allied health (e.g. psychologist, dietician, podiatrist, optometrist)
- Group therapies (e.g. art and music therapy, drug and alcohol programs)
- Client support and management
- Training and education
- Recreation and rest, and
- Dining facilities
