Celebrating NAIDOC Week 2024

Last week, our team at the Northern Community Hub proudly participated in NAIDOC Week activities, joining local events and celebrating the rich culture and history of First Nations peoples.

We attended events at Kangan Broadmeadows Indigenous Education Centre, hosted by The Long Walk and Wandarra, and participated in the VAHS NAIDOC March (pictured below).

NAIDOC Week is a time to honour the enduring strength of First Nations culture, symbolised by fire’s connection to Country.

Our participation in these events reflects our commitment to supporting and celebrating the vibrant traditions and contributions of First Nations communities. We are grateful for the opportunity to learn, engage and stand in solidarity with our First Nations friends and partners.
